Grand Master Anthony Wade
9th Degree Black Belt – Kajukenbo
Master – Mirarada Escrima"
GM Anthony Wade’s martial arts journey began in 1986 in Newark, California, where he trained under Senior Grand Master Pete Morales at the historic Golden Dragon School of Karate, specializing in Kajukenbo Gaylord Method. His early years were shaped by discipline, traditional training, and a deep respect for the legacy of the art.
A career change took him to Hawaii, where he was fortunate to continue his martial arts growth under several respected Kenpo and Kajukenbo Grand Masters. This experience broadened his perspective, allowing him to train with diverse instructors and expand his understanding of self-defense and traditional martial arts principles.
After returning to the Bay Area, he resumed his training at the Golden Dragon School of Karate and earned his First Degree Black Belt in 1992.
In 1993, GM Wade was officially certified by the Kajukenbo Association of America (KAA) as an Instructor in the Kajukenbo Gaylord Method, marking an important milestone in his teaching career.
From 1992 to 1999, he continued to advance in rank, ultimately achieving Fourth Degree Black Belt and earning the titles of Head Instructor and later Chief Instructor. During this period, he helped shape countless students and contributed significantly to the school’s growth and reputation.
When Senior Grand Master Pete Morales closed the Golden Dragon School in 1999 to focus on his family, GM Wade remained committed to his Kajukenbo training. He continued his journey by training with several Kajukenbo schools throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, further refining his skills and deepening his connection to the art.
In 2006, GM Wade resumed training in Escrima in Stockton, California. In 2011, he began training under Grand Master Art Miraflor in the MiraRada Escrima System, a relationship that would become central to his development as a weapons practitioner.
On March 9, 2019, he received the rank of Master of MiraRada Escrima from GM Art Miraflor in recognition of his dedication, skill, and leadership within the system.
Following the passing of Senior Grand Master Pete Morales on November 11, 2019, and in accordance with SGM Morales’ final directive, Professor Anthony Wade was recognized as a Grand Master (9th Degree) in the Kajukenbo Gaylord Method, honoring his decades of commitment to the art and his teacher’s legacy.
Instructor Kevin Ingham
2nd Degree Black Belt – Kajukenbo
Kevin Ingham’s journey is one defined by resilience, service, and the strength of family—values that mirror the heart of martial arts itself.
A lifelong Stockton resident, Kevin proudly served six years in the U.S. Army, including a yearlong deployment to Iraq. His time in the military strengthened his sense of duty, sharpened his leadership, and taught him to stay focused and composed even in the most challenging situations.
Kevin first began his martial arts training at just nine years old. Though life took him in and out of the dojo over the years, the art never stopped calling him back. In 2015, he resumed his training under GM Anthony Wade, a turning point that reignited his passion and set him firmly on the path of growth and mastery. He earned his First-Degree Black Belt in 2021 and now holds the rank of Second-Degree Black Belt and the title of "Instructor", reflecting both his technical skill and his commitment to guiding others.
Martial arts is more than Kevin’s personal pursuit—it is part of his family’s legacy. Kevin’s father, also a Second-Degree Black Belt in Kajukenbo, continues this generational tradition, making martial arts a powerful thread connecting three generations of the Ingham family.
Today, Kevin brings his experience as a soldier, a student, a mentor, and a family man to every class he teaches—helping students grow stronger not only in skill, but in character.
